AA in the News 8.26.19


Classes started for the 2019-2020 school year at Amelia Academy on Monday, August 12th. Junior Kellie Banks cheerfully returns to classes after an Amelia Academy fire drill during the first week of school.  Classes began on Monday, August 12th.

Twelve Amelia Academy students will travel to Washington D.C. to visit the White House and Smithsonian. This two day trip will start early on the morning of September 13th and students will return to Amelia on September 14th.  On Wednesday Morning the students arrived at school at 7:00 to sell coffee and donuts to parents as they dropped off their children.   This fundraising project will help to defray the cost of the trip.  Participants included Miss Victoria Lunsford, sponsor, Madison Borum, Sarah Reynolds, Brent Carwile, Alex Webb, David Easter, Jalen Booker, Madison Barnard, Kellie Banks, Greg Harris, Sarah Pomfrey, Ryan Anderson and Jade Nunnally.
