AA in the News 10.28.19


Three Amelia Academy student athletes were recognized on Friday night when the Patriots hosted Grace Christian. Senior night for fall sports was held between the middle school and varsity games.  Senior cross country runner Sarah Pomfrey was escorted by her parents, Chris and Lynn Pomfrey.  Senior volleyball player Madison Barnard was accompanied by her sister Macy and parents Gregory and Sharon Barnard.   Senior volleyball player Lexi Easter was presented by her sister Savanah, mother April Easter, father Tony Easter and step mother, Tracie Easter.

Friday night saw the Amelia Academy Patriots hosting Grace Christian in their final home game of the regular season. On senior night Senior Madison Barnard prepares to pass the ball.  The Patriots won in three games.

The Amelia Academy middle school volleyball team hosted Banner Christian on Friday, October 25th. Pictured is eighth grader Bobbie Fletcher going for the ball.  The Patriots won.

The Amelia Academy cross-country team traveled to Kenston Forest on Thursday for a meet.  Pictured are senior Sarah Pomfrey and junior Kellie Banks running in the women’s division.
